Christa is an international supervisor and trainer, who holds a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW, Canada), a Masters of Arts in Coaching and Consulting with Expressive Arts, a minor in psychology and specialisation in education (MA, Switzerland), and is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW, Australia). She has 30 years of experience in: program design and facilitation, human developmental stages, acknowledging abilities and learner modes, facilitating mandatory staff training, pregnancy support, child and family counselling, parent education, child protection, community development, community health, hospitals, chronic disease, aged care, palliative care, grief and loss/bereavement, carer fatigue, and with First Nations and Peoples.

Christa is an accomplished supervisor and trainer who combines clinical expertise with focused psychological strategies, creative and experiential approaches (art-making, movement, voice, instrument, writing, storytelling, nature), trauma informed practice, Neuro-sequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), expressive arts coaching, relaxation strategies, Pilates and yoga techniques, equine psychotherapy principles, and educational kinesiology modalities, within a social work supervision frame.

Christa is a passionate and inspiring speaker on the topic of ‘The Heart, the Art and the Soul of Social Work Supervision’. As well, she has been a University Student Practicum Supervisor, and Educator at the Bachelor and Master’s levels, for several universities: in the Social Work Departments at Southern Cross, Griffith, Bond, and Deakin Universities, and in the Division of Art, Health and Society at the European Graduate School.
